Instructions

Basic Instructions – Troy‑Bilt Rototiller
Before use:
• Check fuel and oil levels
• Clear area of rocks and debris
• Wear closed‑toe shoes and eye protection
Starting:

Place tiller on level ground
Turn fuel valve ON (if equipped)
Set choke to CHOKE and throttle to FAST
Pull starter cord to start
Move choke to RUN once warm

Tilling:

Set shallow depth for first pass
Engage tines and walk slowly
Let the tiller work—do not force it
Make multiple passes, deeper each time if needed

Stopping:
• Release tine control
• Turn throttle to SLOW/STOP
• Switch engine OFF
Safety:
Keep hands/feet away from tines. Stop engine before clearing jams. Keep children and pets away.
