Instructions

Turn POWER/SENS knob clockwise to turn on.
Adjust search coil to ensure it is flat, 1-2 inches above the ground.
Change sensitivity and discrimination as necessary.

HOW TO USE:
Set DISC to ALL METAL to start, or turn clockwise to ignore iron/nails.
Sweep the coil side-to-side, keeping it level and close to the ground. Walk slowly.
When the meter jumps and it beeps, you’ve got a target. Dig with the included shovel or use your own.
Fill all holes you dig!

IMPORTANT:
Don’t get the control box wet. The coil is water-resistant (NOT WATER-PROOF!!), not the whole unit. Avoiding water completely is advised,
but if the coil gets slightly wet it should be fine. Use your judgement.
Don’t swing it like a golf club. Slow, flat sweeps work best.

Return requirements

Wipe dirt off the search coil, stem, and shovel before returning.
3. Return with both the detector and the small shovel in its bag.
4. If batteries die during your loan (they shouldn’t), no need to replace them. Just let me know.
5. Please return in the same working condition. Normal wear is fine.
